Junior Woman's Club of Raleigh

President’s Welcome

Thank you for visiting the Junior Woman’s Club of Raleigh website. We’re so glad that you’re here! On behalf of our clubwomen, I welcome you to the 2020-2021 club year. Since 1928, the Junior Woman‘s Club of Raleigh has served our community through leadership, community service, volunteerism, fundraising and scholarships. I am honored to work with this group of dedicated leaders as we strive to improve our local community.

As part of my role as president, I have the exceptional opportunity to be able to select an organization that our club will work closely with throughout the club year. For this club year, I have selected A Place at the Table as our partnership organization. As no one could have imagined, this year has brought us many challenges and unexpected disruptions in our lives with the unprecedented onset of COVID-19 and the subsequent interruptions that have besieged us. While many are suffering job losses and financial hardships, A Place at the Table continues to provide community and good food for all, regardless of means. I feel that given our current social and economic climate, it is our responsibility to support those who continue to support our community. I am so proud of the work that A Place at the Table does and even more proud of the opportunity we have to help them in their mission.

If you are seeking an outlet for volunteering within our local community and building relationships with like-minded women, our club is for you! If you would like to learn more about the Junior Woman’s Club of Raleigh or the larger organization we are a part of – the General Federation of Woman’s Clubs, please contact us.

Yours in Service,
