- General Federation of Women’s Clubs (GFWC) – the world’s largest and oldest nonpartisan, nondenominational, international women’s volunteer service organization – was founded in 1890. GFWC has more than 100,000 members actively engaged in volunteer community service in approximately 4,000 clubs across the globe.
- GFWC of North Carolina – unites member clubs into a statewide charitable organization of volunteers for the promotion of education, community service, fellowship, and leadership development. GFWC-NC consists of over 150 clubs with nearly 8,000 members.
- Woman’s Club of Raleigh – established in 1904, it has played a vital part in shaping the future of the Raleigh community and State of North Carolina through philanthropic and civic betterment. They own and operate the Woman’s Club of Raleigh Clubhouse and have approximately 400 members. They sponsored the conception of the Junior Woman’s Club of Raleigh in 1928.
