The JWC of Raleigh is a member of the GFWC-NC, within District VI. As a member, we are part of the world’s largest and oldest nondenominational, nonpartisan international volunteer service organization of women. GFWC was established in 1890 and now exceeds one million members representing more than 20 countries. Each member club maintains its identity and focus while benefiting from strength that comes from being a part of the international service organization whose motto is “Unity in Diversity”.
The JWC of Raleigh, through the GFWC-NC, offers several avenues for members to become involved in community service. Our club selects projects and programs that best fit our community’s needs from the following six Community Service Programs (CSPs):
- Arts
- Conservation
