Local Arts Festival - Monday January 24, 2005
This is a joint project with the Woman's Club of Raleigh where members of both clubs as well as students from middle and high schools enter their wonderful works of art. Winners at the local level will have their work on display for the Woman Club's General Meeting and then the entries will be entered at the District level at a later date.
The Local Arts Festival is a wonderful opportunity to see just how talented your fellow club members are as well as the students in our community. Its also a great way to fellowship with club members and the Womans Club members! Remember, all winning artwork moves on to the District Arts Festival, February 26, 2005 and if you win at the District level, you then compete at the State Arts Festival at Salem College on March 19, 2005.
All middle schools and high schools in Raleigh will also be invited to enter their artwork in the Student Visual Arts portion of the Arts Festival. The Juniors are responsible for the visual arts portion of the Arts Festival. You will be amazed at just how talented your fellow club members are as well as the students from the local middle and high schools. If you have any questions, please contact us!
